The Imperial Order
and Association of the Nobility of The Holy Roman Empire
of The German Nation, which has been preserved for many centuries for
the
formal defence of Christianity,
which originates from the First Noble Knights
of the Holy Roman Empire of The German Nation, who fought for the victory
of the Christian Faith .
It is now formally composed of the old and new families
of the Holy Roman Empire and is, therefore a closed Imperial Order. The
Holy Roman Empire hands down its own traditions
through the surviving
families,
and it has never suffered a conquest by any foreign power.

One
The Seat of the Imperial Order is in Rome, Italy, and London,
England,
at
the residences of the Hereditary Sovereign Chancellor and Grand
Master of the Imperial Order of the Nobility of the Holy
Roman Empire.
Article Two
It
is a Non-profit Making Organization.
Article Three
Concerning
the Imperial Diet, all Nations come together as
one Imperial
Diet and as such form the closed Imperial Order.
Article Four
The
Order is represented in Imperial Italy
by The Imperial Order in Rome.
Article Five
It
is an international organisation constituted by a united group of Nobility who
share
the same loyalties,
aims and ideals.
Article Six
The Order aims to promote the Christian Faith and the traditions and patrimony
of the Holy
Roman
Empire of The German Nation.
Article Seven
The Government of The Imperial Order is represented by and in the existence of The Hereditary
Sovereign
Chancellor and Grand Master of the Imperial Order.
Article Eight
The Members are descendants of the Imperial Noble Families
of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation.
Article Nine
Hereditary
Sovereign Chancellor and Grand Master of the Imperial Order, holds, bears
and
enjoys full power and
authority over all members.

Ten
The Secretary of the Imperial Order is appointed
by
Hereditary Sovereign Chancellor and Grand Master.
Article Eleven
The
formal patrimony of the Imperial Order is made up of contributions, voluntary
engagements, donations,
legacies, etc.
Article Twelve
The Supreme Prelate of the Imperial Order of The Holy Roman Empire, is held
by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.
Article Fourteen
The Historical Council of the Imperial Order is made up of well-known academics in the
field of historical and juridical studies.
Article Fifteen
The
All New and Old By-laws of the Imperial Order are approved by Hereditary Sovereign Chancellor
and Grand Master
of the Imperial Order.
Article Sixteen
The
Imperial Orders Knights of Merit of the Holy Roman Empire, are selected by the
Hereditary Sovereign
Chancellor
and Grand Master of the Imperial Order.

THE IMPERIAL NOBILITY OF GREAT BRITAIN COUNTS ARUNDELL
OF WARDOUR
Sir Thomas Arundell of Wardour, was Created a Count of The Holy Roman Empire by
Imperial
Letters Patent of the Holy Roman Emperor Rudolph II, on the 14th of December
1595 for capturing the Turkish Standard
at the Battle of Gran in the Kingdom of Hungary
in the same
year. Then formally Recognized by King James I by Royal Letters Patent
Creating him Baron Arundell
of Wardour on the 4th of May, 1605. With the Death of the
16th and last Baron John Arundell in 1944 the Title of Baron
Arundell of Wardour, became
dormant. The descendants of the 1st Count have the Universal Right
to the formal usage
of the Titles of Count or Countess of The Holy Roman Empire, being issued within
the
Imperial Letters Patent concerned. His Imperial and Royal Highness Prince Karl
Friedrich
of Germany, Duke of Swabia, de jure Emperor Charles VIII I.R. has formally issued an
Imperial Decree
to ratify the right of claim of all descendants of the body of the 1st Count
Thomas
Arundell of Wardour of The Holy Roman Empire. Whereas His Imperial Highness,
has furthermore
Conferred and Granted by Imperial Decree and Letters, the formal usage
of the appellation style and title of Excellency,
on all descendants of the 1st Count Thomas
Arundell of Wardour, who may formally Petition His Imperial
Highness, for formal recognition
of the Imperial Titles of
Count or Countess of The Holy Roman Empire, together with the
formal appellation style and Title of
Excellency, granted with full rights of Arms. Please see
below for the official list of the present Counts of The Holy
Roman Empire, who formally hold,
bear and enjoy the Title from the first Count Thomas Arundell
of Wardour. Persons may be
added to this list who have claim to the aforementioned Imperial Title by

COUNT D'ALTON
Richard D'Alton is described
as Lieutenant-General in the Imperial Army,
and the title is said to have been conferred
by the Empress Maria Theresa.
He seems to have been a haul type of soldier of fortune, who earned
a reputation
for carrying out harsh orders in a brutal and unfeeling way. He distinguished
himself
in Transylvania by using a specially high gallows for hanging insurgents and when
the
Emperor suppressed the old constitution of the Austrian Netherlands
in 1789, D'Alton
was employed to put down opposition. But the Flemings cornered him and his
regulars
in Brussels and forced him to surrender.

Emperor. His wife, whom he had deserted for another lady, was made
a Duchess in the
